Raw Design Studio, Manchester

Another North West based agency, Raw Design Studio are 'a tightly wound coil of creativity, working as a dynamic force in the rejuvenated heart of old, industrial Manchester'. The reason behind choosing this particular agency was because of the diversity I saw on the website. Due to the different personalities of each designer in the collective each project has a different visual aesthetic, and I actually like all the different looks. The team seem young and humourous, however still incredibly professional and business minded. The perfect balance.

Something I noticed on the website is that they are always looking at peoples portfolios and are quite open to receiving work. There is also an interesting post from the a few years ago now, but it mentions a 'summer camp' type experience for 3 young designers, to experience a month long look into the life of a 'Raw Designer'. There doesn't seem to be anything mentioned after this, but if this was still something they encouraged I'm sure entering my portfolio would be a clever step forward.
